February 5:
1. Enjoying taking my time to get ready in the morning instead of rushing. It takes around 20 minutes or so, but it’s well worth it.
2. Could today have been any busier? Don’t answer that! :-)
3. My husband has been leaving a square of Ghiradelli chocolate on my nightstand in the evenings – just what I need after hectic days.
4. And today turned out to be far more hectic than I anticipated.
5. Time for bed. -

February Five #1 and #2
I really don’t have time to write a lot these days, but because I want to put something down about my days – like a journal – I thought I could write five things down about each day. Not to mention I don’t want my blog dreams to languish. Oh, and those hash tags up there? They’re NOT hash tags – simply to tell you/me which day I am on.
Sunday, February 1:
1. Kids getting up late and having time to just sit around in pajamas and enjoy some tv.
2. Bemoaning the fact that I couldn’t make that box of brownies until the oven is fixed.
3. Downton Abbey
4. Lavender hand cream (from my Birchbox January sample box)
5. Winter has returned.Monday, February 2:
1. Didn’t get everything done on my to do list, but the most important stuff did.
2. Listening to Baroque at Bathtime and lighting the Espresso candle for ambiance during dinner prep.
3. Cold but sunny. Can’t wait for spring – I’m beginning to feel it. Even if the groundhog didn’t
4. Feast of the Presentation – Ash Wednesday is only two weeks away.
5. Reading “Living More With Less” by Doris Janzen Longacre.
