Prayer During Difficult Times

This prayer comes from a little booklet I got in the mail from the Sisters of Charity in Baltic CT. I’ve started praying it almost every day this month and I really believe it is helping. It just feels like being wrapped up in God’s arms and giving him my troubles while I’m there. In case anyone else out there could use a prayer like this here it is. Peace and love to all!

God of love and mercy, assist me in this time of trouble and anxiety. Ease my burdens. Strengthen my faith. Increase my trust and confidence in Your compassionate care.

Give me the courage I need, dear Lord, to face the difficulties before me, knowing that with Your help, miracles happen and lives are restored.

I ask for a share in Your healing graces, and ask that You surround me with Your comforting goodness, for health in mind and body, and for a heart filled with hope and peace. Amen.

Sweetest Jesus we implore the grace to love You daily more and more.
