Saturday’s Oh Crap Moment

Ah yes, so I’m thinking everything is just fine. Jeff called to say he was going over to his friend’s house after work. That meant we only needed to pick Chris up at 10. Or so I thought. I’m relaxing and watching Two Fat Ladies on the telly and at 9:08 we get a call from Chris asking why there is no one there to pick him up. Apparently he got off work at 9!! Oh crap!! And I look down at my planner and indeed it says 9 – not 10. I run and yell to Mike he needs to go get kiddo. I had it in my mind all day that quitting time for Chris was 10. *sigh* Luckily I had a piece of cheesecake to wash away the stench of failure. :-)

Also, I recall you eating that cheesecake BEFORE the show ever came on. Unless you're saying you tried it a SECOND TIME!

Screamin Eagle - Thanks! I had no idea we even had chili peppers until I was out there with the kids the other day. It's been way to hot to sit outside even in the evenings! We had a pumpkin plant, but it died - the kids were disappointed.
